Premature Infants

Rehabilitation and Developmental Treatment for Premature Infants Using the "First Step" Method

The “First Step” method
This method focuses on actualizing the sensorimotor developmental capabilities of babies from the day they are born. We guide parents in supporting their infants’ development until the age of 6 years.

Diagnosis of Premature Infants
Immediately after birth, we diagnose what has yet to be realized in terms of the nervous system’s learning, including reflexes, tone, sensory systems, and create stimuli that allow the nervous system to continue its learning under optimal developmental conditions. We decide which developmental stages they still need to go through to achieve what they should have undergone in the womb, up to essentially the developmental stage of week 40 of the pregnancy. As they are about to be discharged from the hospital, we again diagnose their developmental age relative to their chronological age to see what still requires guidance in their functioning.

Treatment of Premature Infants and Parental Guidance
The mode of treatment is carried out either by the medical staff or by the parents according to a structured protocol based on the diagnosis made during the hospital stay.

Developmental Support for Premature Infants Using the Method

  • Workshops
  • Private Lessons

Even following discharge from the hospital, we persistently support the developmental journey of premature infants until the age of 6 years. This ensures that each infant successfully progresses through all developmental stages in a systematic and orderly fashion.

We diligently ensure the robust realization of all fundamental developmental aspects, including:

  • Communication
  • Balance
  • Developmental Stages
  • Language
  • Behavior
  • Social Skills, and more
